The Workflow Coordinator/Editor for the Med Legal service line is responsible for strategically dispatching casework assignments to the Production associates. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring proper grammar, formatting, branding, and content of sensitive reports containing patient medical and billing information.

  • Exemplify attention to detail, have strong critical thinking skills, and a passion for the written English language, grammar, and consistency in formatting.
  • Are constantly catching typos in written materials, inconsistencies in TV scenes, and improper grammar used by those around you.

Specifically you will be:

  • Strategically dispatching casework assignments to the Production team in alignment with customer deadlines.
  • Assessing the casework pipeline to evaluate by when we can deliver services to customer.
  • Reviewing small to large Excel workbooks of data for accurate application of formulas, cross-referencing totals, and ensuring comments and analysis match the content.
  • Formatting borders, shading, fonts, branding elements, page scale, print area, and other aspects of Excel workbooks prior to converting to PDF.
  • Edit narrative, list, table, and other content in small to large Word documents for grammar, punctuation, flow, and level of understanding to non-medical professional.
  • Format font, tables, sections, branding elements, and other aspects of Word documents for consistency.


  • Professional writing and/or editing experience preferred, but not essential. 
  • Must have some experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous professional employment required.

Skills for Success:

  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred, but not required if quick learner.
  • Ability to learn quickly is essential. 
  • Critical thinking skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Independently motivated.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to and from peers.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Professional.
  • Email.
  • Video conferencing.
  • QuickBase navigation (once demonstrated).


  • 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
