As an Assistant Manager at Elevate, you will ensure sound delivery of technical services to our client's internal teams based out of Manila or remotely on client sites or from home. You will provide a mixture of preventative support, project delivery and integration activity around Cisco networks to a Windows Server environment, Citrix XenApp, VMWare and more. You will be looked upon as a subject matter expert and will be expected to advise fellow team members on making reliable technical decisions around supporting and deploying a complex environment that runs business critical systems

Specifically, you will….

  • Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements
  • Help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Perform software product installation, configuration management, maintenance, testing and documentation for systems and storage related platform.
  • Perform problem management and incident correlation on re-occurring issues; suggest and document the workarounds solution both software and hardware.
  • Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot, and conduct root-case analysis for any issues escalated on any systems related platforms within the organization and its customer.
  • Creates and updates documentation for storage and backup environments. The documentation would include: standard operating procedures, solutions, knowledge base articles and applicable project documentation responsible for the operation and integrity of the firms data backup solutions and to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all time.
  • Develop training frameworks and programs to help staff keep updated about new industry practices.

Skills for Success

  • Understanding of Microsoft 365/Cloud architectures and strategy (public, private, and hybrid)
  • Strong technical knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory).
  • Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack including Windows 7 and 10, EMS Suite, Azure, O365, E1, E3 licensing for Enterprise Agreements
  • Additional knowledge of Workplace Transformations, Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Virtualization: Hyper-V, VMWare, Virtual networking, Security and application architecture
  • Expertise with core Microsoft Windows enterprise components: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DFS
  • Working knowledge of ITIL incident management and co-ordination including service transition process
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27001 controls
  • MCSE and ITIL certification preferred but not required

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting and working independently to successfully assist customers in their utilization of systems and network hardware/software
  • Working in an IT support environment in an Assistant Manager role

Qualifications

  • MCSE and ITIL certification preferred but not required
