Job Description

Elevate is recruiting a Document Production Specialist (DPS) who reports to the Shift Manager of the Document Production Unit and is expected to create a positive working relationship with team members in their group.

Specifically, this role will involve:

  • Providing an accurate and high quality document production service to fee earners using Law Firm House style
  • Follow workflow processes as per the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Document creation, conversions, formatting, revisions, clean up, repair and indexing on MS Word
  • Presentation creation, conversions, formatting and revisions on MS PowerPoint
  • Spreadsheet creation, conversions, formatting, revisions, linking and archiving on MS Excel
  • Quality checking for accuracy and formatting and editing services
  • Specific MS Word tasks: Template and form creation, merging and compare documents, mail merge and label creation, creating document tables and perfoming automation including TOAs, TOCs and cross referencing
  • Ensuring all work and projects are completed as per instructions from the client and /or specifications

Essential experience and skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a document production unit working on advanced MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of formatting, converting PDF, handwritten markups in professionaly formatted MS Word and PowerPoint documents
  • Fluent in written and oral communication in English at all levels internally and externally
  • Previous work experience in a professional services environment
  • Law background will be an added advantage

  • Advanced MS Word
  • Advanced PowerPoint
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm

Qualifications:

  • Graduate and/or equivalent experience
