Role Description

As a Commercial Attoreny you will work with the Elevate and customer project teams to fully understand project scope and goals and success criteria, leading the contracts team and managing the commercial contracting process and workflow. You will act as a key point of contact to the customer during project transition/implementation, developing a deep understanding of the customer's services and processes that require transition to Elevate, closely following Elevate implementation methodologies, tools and templates to clearly track and document process migration, identifying the skills required for the project and recommending mobilization of relevant resources to the Executive Sponsors.You will create project plans, project presentations, weekly status reports, assess, highlight, escalate and mitigate project risks and change requests, manage multiple implementations for different service lines, provide coaching/feedback to the Elevate project team to ensure that project goals are met in a timely manner

You Might be the Right Person If You Are...

  • An attorney with 5+ years of extensive commercial contracting experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • A Project Manager with 5+ yrs. of experience.
  • Passionate about customer service and put the customer’s needs first.

  • A great communicator who is organized and process oriented.
  • Analytical, innovative and can build rapport with internal and external customers.
  • Have a keen eye for attention to detail and takes personal pride in producing quality output.

Specifically, You Will...

  • Lead a team of attorneys to support customer needs for high volume and flow of commercial contracts.
  • Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues. 
  • Help build and manage systems for contract QC, contract documentation and process. 
  • Update or draft templates, negotiation playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
  • Capture various pieces of information related to the contracts or matters that you support.
  • Participate or manage client projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and act as Program/Project Manager to ensure smooth workflow and set appropriate priorities for the team.
  • Participate/lead training programs for the team.
  • Be a reliable, flexible and positive team leader.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of legal practice with at least 3 years of experience providing transactional support for business clients, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Project Management experience in legal.
  • Excellent track record in previous customer support/service engagements.
  • Good understanding of cloud based software solutions and ability to leverage their value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and JD licensed in good standing in at least one state.
